Facts

Larry Tran initiated a class action lawsuit against Fastenal Company following a series of transactions in which customers received electronically generated receipts.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended that defendant knowingly printed receipts for customers that had customers' credit and debit card expiration dates printed on them in violation of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied the contentions.

Result

Fastenal will establish a non-reversionary cash fund in the amount of $1.3 million.
