Plaintiff Ricardo Ocampo filed an asbestos lawsuit against defendant Honeywell International Inc. in relation to a brand of brake linings plaintiff was exposed to which was manufactured by Bendix Corp., a company acquired by Honeywell.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended that he developed mesothelioma because he was exposed to the asbestos contained in the Bendix brand brake pads at the auto dealership where plaintiff worked.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied plaintiff's contentions. Defendant contended that plaintiff's injury was not caused by exposure to a Bendix product.

Injuries

Plaintiff suffered from mesothelioma.

Result

The jury rendered a verdict in favor of defendants.
