PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended defendant failed to pay its employees for all hours worked, and failed to provide employees with itemized, accurate wage statements. Plaintiff also contended defendant willfully misclassified its employees as independent contractors. Additionally, Plaintiff contended defendant failed to compensate employees for all of the time they performed work-related activities. Plaintiff further contended defendant failed to reimburse for necessarily incurred business expenses. Overall, plaintiff contended defendant committed unfair, unlawful, and/or fraudulent business practices.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied the contentions.
Result
The parties agreed to settle for $300,000.
