Christopher Street filed a civil rights complaint against the County of Los Angeles, as well as Deputies Jonathon Livingston and Jason Viger, after an encounter in Palmdale on September 11, 2016.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended he was subjected to excessive force by Deputies Jonathon Livingston and Jason Viger during an encounter in Palmdale. Plaintiff further contended as the employer of the deputies, the County was liable for its employees' actions.

DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS: Defendants denied the contentions.

Result

The parties agreed to settle for $75,000.
