Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended she was subjected to discrimination based on her disability of cancer, and her age that was over 40 years old. Plaintiff contended she was subjected to a hostile work environment, denied reasonable accommodations, retaliated against when she complained to the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and Defendant denied her transfer request. Plaintiff contended after she voluntarily demoted herself from Planner III to a Planner II, per her doctor's orders, Defendant refused to provide training.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendants denied Plaintiff's contentions and moved to dismiss the complaint.
Result
The court dismissed the case with prejudice and entered judgment for the City after it determined Plaintiff failed to present evidence that supported her claims.
