PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended that it owned United States Patent No. 544, entitled Flash Memory Apparatus Having Single Body Type Rotary Cover, which was issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office on August 9, 2005. However, Plaintiff contended that Defendant Kingston offered for sale or sold USB flash memory devices that infringed the '544 patent.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied Plaintiff's contentions.

Result

The jury found infringement and Plaintiff Pavo was awarded $11,272,961.
