USC gynecologist Dr. George Raymond Tyndall sexually abused, harassed and assaulted thousands of young female patients at the USC Student Health Center, over the course of nearly three decades, under the guise of providing medically legitimate treatment.
Contentions
PLAINTIFFS' CONTENTIONS: Plaintiffs contended that USC knew of Tyndall's propensity to abuse and harass his patient through numerous complaints raised by both patients and other USC employees yet continued to employ Tyndall as the USC Student Health Center's only full-time gynecologist for years.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied the contentions.

Global settlement in the amount of $842,400,000 to settle the state court claims of 702 Plaintiffs.
