Kevin Malek brought a class action against Pressed Juicery, Inc. alleging defendant falsely and deceptively advertised its green juices.

Contentions

PLAINTIFFS' CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff alleged the subject products did not contain green vegetables as their primary ingredients, and instead contained sugary fruit juices such as apple, orange, and pineapple juice. Plaintiff contended defendant's covered products were deceptively and falsely advertised as containing green vegetables such as kale or spinach.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant's denied all of the contentions.

Result

The case settled for $695,000. Class members who purchased Pressed Juicery's Greens 2, Greens 3, or Greens 5 in the U.S., its territories, or U.S. military facilities between May 1, 2014 through May 19,2021 are eligible to receive up to $10.
