On December 1, 2018, a patrol vehicle operated by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Sergeant O'Brien Yvonne Isabel rear-ended Leal Emma Viviana, Escobar Sophie, and Perez Eliza's vehicle on the southbound Interstate 5 freeway. The three injured parties brought personal injury and property damage claims against Isabel and her employer, the County of Los Angeles.
Contentions
PLAINTIFFS' CONTENTIONS: Plaintiffs contended that Isabel is responsible for the injuries suffered from the accident, while the County of Los Angeles is vicariously liable.
