Various orders issued by Berkeley County Family Court in a divorce proceeding caused Audrey Kimner to lose her home and other assets. Kimner subsequently filed a pro se complaint against Berkeley County, South Carolina.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff alleged that defendant was responsible for improperly possessing plaintiff's real property and funds in South Carolina and for improperly jailing plaintiff. Plaintiff asserted that defendant illegally possessed her home.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied all contentions.

Damages

Plaintiff demanded $5,000,000 in damages.

Defendant's motion to dismiss was granted.
