Facts

On Nov. 15, 2018, at or about 7 p.m., an Amazon delivery driver named Alfredo Mesta hit plaintiff Anita Eisenberg as she was walking across the parking lot of a Wells Fargo in Chino Hills. Defendant Mesta's van knocked her over and then stopped on top of her left leg. Defendant Mesta got out to see what had happened then got back in and reversed off her leg. Plaintiff suffered serious injury.

Injuries

Plaintiff suffered left knee crush injury with scar; left tibial plateau fracture; left meniscus tear; complex regional pain syndrome ; right ankle/foot crush injury; and cervical radiculopathy.

Result

Plaintiff's verdict for $5 million.
