Facts

Plaintiff is a trust that was assigned a prior judgment for 50% of a parcel of real property that plaintiff's predecessor was awarded after his business partner absconded with the property. Nearly a decade later, defendant failed to return the property interest to plaintiff as ordered.

Plaintiff filed its complaint as an action on the judgment to enforce a decade-old judgment to obtain what had been adjudicated to be its rightful property.
