Facts

C.F.B., Inc. hired Kevin Nason on August 9, 2018 as a caregiver. He was involuntarily terminated from employment on November 4, 2020. Mr. Nason filed a complaint against C.F.B., Inc. for harassment, failure to prevent harassment, whistleblower retaliation, wrongful termination, and violation of wage and hour labor code.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended that he was terminated in retaliation for making protected complaints of harassment and suspected resident abuse and neglect.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant contended that it terminated Plaintiff because he was not a good fit for the company due to his inability to get along with his co-workers.
