Facts

Neldy's R.C., Inc., is a residential care facility with twelve locations. In 2022, after an investigation covering December 1, 2018 to July 32, 2021, Martin J. Walsh, the United States Secretary of Labor, filed suit against Neldy's and its owners.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended that the defendants had violated various provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, including those regarding overtime pay and recordkeeping.

DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS: The defendants did not dispute the plaintiff's contentions.

Result

The parties entered into a consent judgment against defendant in the total amount of $715,697.
