On November 20, 2018, a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department employee was driving a Sheriff's Department vehicle. As he made a left turn, his vehicle collided with Jesus Marlene Gomez Rodriguez's car. Rodriguez filed suit against the County of Los Angeles and others.

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended that she suffered injuries due to the collision that was caused by defendant's negligent actions.

DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied all material contentions and allegations.
