Facts
On July 21, 2018, plaintiff Laura Mireles-Higuera was a passenger in a vehicle that was at a complete stop on the 60 Eastbound freeway. At the same time, defendant was also driving east on the 60 freeway and rear-ended plaintiff's vehicle.
Injuries
Plaintiff suffered injuries to her back and underwent a fusion surgery and then a spinal cord stimulator surgery.
Result
The case settled for $2 million.
