Facts

Mothership Technologies is a freight broker headquartered in Los Angeles. Around July 2020, Mothership started providing freight brokerage services to Central Freight Lines, a licensed motor carrier based in Texas. When Central Freight stopped paying Mothership's invoices in October 2020, Mothership suspended Central Freight's account the following month. Mothership thereafter filed suit in USDC Central on December 1, 2020.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff made several claims against defendant including breach of contract; open book accounts; and unjust enrichment.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied all material contentions.

Result

Judgment was entered in favor of plaintiff in the amount of $90,000 plus costs.
