Facts
This lawsuit involved fraud-based claims by plaintiffs against, among others, Ibrahim Mohammed, the co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of Production Capital, a purported film financing company. Defendant Mohammed solicited investments from Plaintiffs in film financing projects. Plaintiffs alleged that the projects were fake and that the entire enterprise was a Ponzi scheme. Plaintiffs also alleged that defendant Mohammed made material misrepresentations about the projects and his role in the company and that as a result, Plaintiffs lost their investments. Plaintiffs sued defendants Mohammed for fraud.
