Facts

On October 5, 2021, Debra Crismani was injured when she tripped and fell on an uneven sidewalk adjacent to 2650 Fulton Street. Ms. Crismani fractured her finger and underwent multiple surgeries. She sued the City and County of San Francisco and the property owner Cultural Integration Fellowship for past wage loss, medical expenses, and non-economic damages.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contends that defendants' negligent maintenance of the sidewalk created a dangerous condition of public property.

DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS: Defendants denied all contentions.

Result

The case settled. The City and County of San Francisco paid $90,000, and Cultural Integration Fellowship paid $110,000, to resolve the matter.
