Facts

On September 13, 2019, Cher Lee Faacks, individually and on behalf of all similarly situated individuals, brought a class action against Storagepro Management Inc., alleging various Labor Code violations. The class included all non-exempt employees employed by Storagepro Management Inc. in California at any time between September 13, 2015, and October 15, 2022. Storagepro estimated that there was 725 members who worked no more than 50,000 workweeks during the class period.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff contended that defendant failed to: pay all wages, provide rest periods or compensation in lieu thereof, provide meal periods or compensation in lieu thereof, knowingly comply with itemized employee wage statement, timely pay wages due at separation of employment, and reimburse employee business expenses for its California employees during the relevant time periods.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied all contentions.

Result

Storagepro Management Inc. agreed to pay $449,050 to settle all claims.
