Esmeralda Leon, on behalf of herself and all others similarly situated, brought a class action against Aero Transporte De Carga Union S.A. De C.V., alleging various wage and hour violations. The class included all current and former hourly, non-exempt employees of defendant within California at any time from May 21, 2020, through September 17, 2022.

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS: Plaintiff alleged that defendant failed to: pay minimum and overtime wages, provide compliant meal breaks, provide compliant rest breaks, provide accurate itemized wage statements, pay all wages owed upon termination, and reimburse business related expenses for its California employees during the class period. Further, plaintiff contended that defendant engaged in unfair competition in violation of the California Business & Professions Code as a result of the aforementioned violations.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied all contentions.

Aero Transporte De Carga Union S.A. De C.V. agreed to pay $300,000 to settle all claims.
