Facts

Vans, Inc. sued Walmart, Inc., The Doll Maker, LLC , and Trendy Trading, LLC, alleging that defendants intentionally sold several "knockoff versions" of Vans shoes, while willfully infringing Vans' trademark and trade dress rights. It brought claims for trademark infringement; unfair competition and false designation of origin; contributory trademark infringement; and unfair competition.

Result

Defendants Doll Maker and Trendy Trading entered into a consent judgment and permanent injunction, whereby they admitted to having infringing versions of certain Vans trademarks and agreed to be enjoined from using them.
