Plaintiff James Sharlein, an LAFD Firefighter/paramedic, brought suit against the City of Los Angeles, alleging that he was retaliated against for reporting threats of violence and racist and sexual misconduct, among other things, by a female probationary Firefighter, including threats to "drop a bomb" on him, and to "drop a bomb on the fire station" where they both worked; and stated she would have her brothers "come down to the Fire Station to fight" plaintiff.
