Plaintiff Ariana Deats sued The Zalkin Law Firm, on behalf of herself and 523 similarly situated individuals, after the law firm suffered a data breach from a known cybercriminal group that resulted in the exfiltration of confidential records, social security numbers, and details of sexual abuse related to sexual harassment lawsuits handled by the firm. Plaintiff asserted claims for breach of implied contract and implied covenant of good faith, unfair competition, and unjust enrichment.
