Facts

Plaintiffs and Defendants were two couples, who had been friends for several years. Defendants invited Plaintiffs to their house for a dinner party, and the attendees ended up engaging in various sexual activities, the consensual nature of which the parties disputed. Plaintiffs contended that everything that occurred was consensual. Thereafter, Defendants made reports to Plaintiffs' employers regarding the alleged sexual improprieties and assaults. Plaintiffs alleged claims for defamation (eventually withdrawn), as well as intentional and negligent interference with prospective economic relations and intentional and negligent interference with contractual relations. Defendants moved for summary judgment.

Result

The court granted defendants' motion for summary judgment.
