In October of 1991, Plaintiff, an 82-year-old retiree, was exiting Defendant's building via a wooden plank rampway. The ramp had a concrete extension on the last 2 feet. When Plaintiff approached the concrete portion of the ramp, she tripped and fell. She allegedly reached for the railing, but the railing did not extend along the concrete portion of the rampway.
