On March 29, 1992, Plaintiff, a 52-year-old cabinet installer, slipped and fell when he entered the laundry room of the apartment complex in which he was a tenant. He slipped on soapy water that had accumulated on the floor of the laundry room area. The complex was managed by the Defendant management company. At the time of the incident, the Defendants had placed a sign in the laundry room which stated, "In order to avoid continuous flooding, please start washers at 5-minute intervals."
