Facts

On December 21, 1989, Defendants Dr. Amable and Dolores Aguiluz borrowed $630,000 from Plaintiffs Foremost Investments. The loan was secured by real properties (4); and the escrow called for was short term. The Plaintiffs were required to foreclose on the loan when Defendants defaulted. At that time, Plaintiffs discovered that the security on the properties was inadequate.

Settlement Discussions

Plaintiffs contend they demanded $600,000 and defendants offered nothing.
