On July 17, 1990, Plaintiff Carl Jordan, a 57-year-old plasterer who was working on a jobsite in Chino Hills, was in the process of applying plaster through the use of a Putzmeister "tommy gun" plaster pump. During the process, Plaintiff was struck in the face by plaster from the gun. Defendant Nachant was the general contractor at the jobsite.
