On May 31, 1989, Plaintiff, a 54-year-old controller, was exiting a parking structure when the Defendant, who had been parked on the left side of the roadway, collided with the passenger side of Plaintiff's vehicle when his foot slipped off the brake. Property damage totaled $284; both parties left the scene of the collision without assistance.
