Facts

Defendant developer completed construction on a 14-unit luxury condominium project in October 1985. The purchase price of each unit was approximately $300,000. Tiled patio decks were constructed as integral parts of the garage roofs. Defective construction of those patios/roofs resulted in leakage which caused water damage to kitchens and garages between April 1992 and January 1993.

Settlement Discussions

Plaintiff contends that they demanded $82,000 and that Defendant made several lesser offers.

Damages

Repair costs in the amount of $75,000.
