This lawsuit involved contest to a will executed June 23, 1992, by Freda Feingold who died January 13, 1993, at 82 years of age. Feingold left an estate worth approximately $570,000. The Contestant was Brenda Segall-Moss, a granddaughter of decedent Feingold. The Respondent was Lisa Samuel who was the other granddaughter of decedent Feingold.

Settlement Discussions

Contestant contends they offered $160,000 and Respondent made no counter offer.

Result

The Court found the decedent lacked capacity to execute a will, that she was under the undue influence of the Respondent's father, and that Respondent's father perpetrated an active fraud on the decedent and Court.
