In December 1992, Defendant Houston & People's Mortuary stored the body of decedent, Rhonda Brown, in an unrefrigerated condition for 3 weeks after allegedly purporting to have cremated decedent's remains in a timely fashion. Plaintiffs are Joyce Langie and Jane Wright. Langie was the godmother who raised decedent; Wright was the aunt of decedent.
