    On July 1, 1992, Plaintiff Katherine Ford, an unemployed 38-year-old woman, was in her automobile and accompanied by her 18-year-old son, Gabriel. Defendant Grullermo Martinez Merino was driving a moving truck owned by Defendant Joe's Service. Defendant's moving truck backed into Plaintiff's vehicle. Both Plaintiffs claimed injuries; and Defendant stipulated to liability.
