Facts

On March 29, 1991, various Defendant Rialto police officers were called upon to serve a search warrant at Plaintiff's residence. During the execution of said warrant, the Plaintiff's wife, Regina Wren, confronted the officers and was shot and killed. Mrs. Wren was a 30-year-old secretary at the time of her death.

Defendant contends they made no offer and Plaintiff demanded $500,000.

Injuries

Plaintiff brought this suit as both a wrongful death lawsuit and a survival action. As such, he claimed injuries on behalf of the estate and on his own individual behalf. These injuries included: Loss of society and comfort, emotional distress, and punitive damages.

Other Information

Plaintiff received a life sentence for drug manufacturing and distribution as well as possession of fire arms.
