On May 5, 1991, Plaintiff Sang Kook Lee, a 39-year-old painter, fell from a work platform while riding from one work location to another. Plaintiff alleged that the bolts which held the platform to the base were defective. Galaxy Maintenance and Cotterman Company, the platform manufacturer, were named as Defendants.
