In March of 1993, Plaintiff Margit Jely and her husband answered an advertisement placed by Defendant Ventron, Inc.'s agent concerning the purchase of pizza vending machines. Soon after, Plaintiff purchased 3 machines for $21,000. There was a several-month delay in the receipt of these pizza machines. At the time, Plaintiff was 2-months pregnant. When the machines did arrive, they did not work.
