On November 16, 1992, Plaintiff, a 69-year-old retired real estate sales person, alleged that she slipped and fell on a plastic lingerie hanger in the North Hollywood Kmart Store. She had had a hip replacement in January of 1989, which had caused her continual pain from the time of the initial surgery until the alleged incident.
