Lynch, a 36-year-old self-employed laborer in an automobile body shop, was traveling on El Cajon Blvd. Highway in his automobile when Defendant Edco Disposal's trash truck backed out of an alley, onto the roadway, with the help of a spotter. The two vehicles collided.
