On July 18, 1993, Plaintiff Remedios Loevenich, a 42-year-old homemaker, was attacked by her neighbor's Rhodesian ridgeback dog which had run out of Defendants' house. Plaintiff had been standing outside her neighbors' home when the dog jumped up on her and bit her face, twice. Liability was neither disputed nor admitted.
