Facts
On April 3, 1993, Plaintiff, a 31-year-old actor and model, was walking down the common-area stairway of his apartment complex where he was a tenant. About halfway down, he slipped on a wet, slippery substance on one of the steps. To break his fall, he attempted to use the handrail. The railing broke away from the wall, causing Plaintiff to fall down the rest of the stairway.
