On February 27, 1994, the plaintiff, Patricia Tyler, a 32-year-old deli clerk, was traveling southbound on Latrobe Road. The defendant, Lynn Strom, was traveling westbound on Whiterock Road. The defendant stopped at a stop sign and, when she pulled into the intersection, she collided with plaintiff's vehicle. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on a negligence theory of recovery.
