On Oct. 24, 1989, plaintiff Michele Jones, a 38-year-old x-ray technician, claimed that she slipped and fell in a pool of clear liquid on the floor in the defendant Kmart store. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on premises liability and negligence theories of recovery.
