Plaintiff Lawrence Dorsa was employed by defendant Hughes Aircraft Company. On Dec. 9, 1994, his employment was terminated pursuant to a reduction in force. The plaintiff executed a separation and release agreement which barred his bringing any claim in connection with his termination. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant Hughes Aircraft Company based on wrongful termination, breach of implied contract and breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing theories of recovery.
