On Nov. 28, 1995, the plaintiff, a 66-year-old part-time psychotherapist, was driving westbound on Olympic Blvd. in Century City. The defendant's decedent, was driving in the opposite direction on Olympic Blvd. As the defendant's decedent approached the plaintiff's vehicle, she crossed the center line striking the plaintiff's vehicle head on. The defendant's decedent also struck two other vehicles and was killed in the accident. The plaintiff brought this action against the decedent's estate based on negligence theory of recovery.
