Facts
On Feb. 29, 1996, the plaintiff, a 21-year-old cashier, was in her vehicle when she was struck head-on by a flat-bed trailer being towed by defendant, who was driving at 45 mph. The trailer dislodged and struck the plaintiff's vehicle. It took 40 minutes to extricate plaintiff from her vehicle. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendants based on a negligence theory of recovery.
