Facts
On Dec. 28, 1996, the plaintiffs, a 52-year-old homemaker, and her husband, were leaving private party in Altadena. Valet parking services were provided by defendant valet service. The valets parked the plaintiffs' car across a darkened residential street, requiring plaintiff wife to jaywalk to her car. When crossing street, plaintiff wife was hit by the second defendant's vehicle. The plaintiffs, husband and wife, brought this action against the defendants based on negligence and loss of consortium theories of recovery.
