Facts
On June 23, 1996, plaintiff, a 56-year-old esthetician/facialist, was shopping at defendant store in Beverly Hills. She came off of an escalator on the fifth floor, turned left and walked about 10 steps. She tripped; twisted her body, and fell to the ground. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence.
