On Feb. 17, 1996, a musician employed by defendant's night club drank approximately 20 beers and four tequilas, while at work, drove drunk and killed the decedent. Wrongful death action based upon negligence, negligent supervision, negligence per se and respondeat superior. Also, the jury pierced corporate veil. The defendant contended that the musician was not an employee, but an independent contractor and was not there that night.
