Facts

According to the plaintiff, he was terminated after a series of complaints to city about himself and others who
were not receiving PERS benefits from city even though entitled to and qualified for. The plaintiff, a 49-year-
old janitor, was given no reason for his termination which occurred after the city was audited by PERS.
The plaintiff sued for wrongful termination in violation of public policy and as a
whistleblower.
